Well, we got a later start than we wanted, but there was a lot of stuff to pack. And Dean was on his work phone most of the day. We planned to get as far as Fayetteville, AR.
We apparently picked a good time to start the trip, though. Usually, traffic on I-40 is usually moderate to heavy, with the number of trucks greatly increasing as it nears evening. The was very little traffic today, though. We made great time.
We'll start Wednesday by running across to Afton, OK, near the north east corner of the state. We'll pick up old US Route 66 there, and follow it along. Hopefully, there'll be some neat pictures.
