Day 2 Wednesday, April 30, 2008 Oklahoma

OK, here's the last of the shots from Chelsea, OK.

This is a house that was ordered from the Sears and Roebuck catalog in 1913. It cost $1600 to build. The address is 1001 Olive Street, Chelsea, OK.



Somewhere along the line, we lost the shots I took of the front of the house, but it looks exactly the same from all sides. The front just has the porch all the way across. You can see the side of the porch in the picture below.



Here's the detail on the bay window.


Oh, I almost forgot. There was one more spot of interest in Chelsea. It's a flea market/junk shop. They sell slightly different things in Oklahoma than you'd find in Tennessee.


I like the buffalo to the far left.



I asked Dean if we could take take the bucking bull and cowboy home with us, but he said strapping it to the roof of the Subaru might pose some problems, so we left it behind.
